The Interfaith Sanctuary provides shelter, a warm meal and compassion for Boise’s homeless population. Several years ago, this population was rocked by violence that required additional security.

Perimeter Security Maintenance Technician (Boise)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a technician passionate about travel, repairing/maintaining security under a variety of conditions, while continuing grow their knowledge as technology continues to evolve. This person will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance on various security equipment in a safe and efficient manner in conjunction with client needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service and maintenance on:
  • Vehicle barriers
  • Operated bollards
  • Operated gates
  • Other security related equipment
  • Display a positive attitude.
  • Promote training; growth among the team.
  • Strive for excellence in Company safety and quality work standards.
  • Overcommunicate
  • Participate in SQPP completion.
  • Complete project ahead of schedule and under budget.
  • Promote excellent housekeeping of jobsite, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicate material, tool and equipment needs to supervisor as it pertains to plan.
  • Obtain supervisor approval prior to making purchases.
  • Report all safety incidents to supervisor immediately.
  • Communicate maintenance and repair items to supervisor
  • Responsible for co-workers.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Troubleshooting:
    • –Low Voltage Electricity
    • –PLC
    • –Controls
    • Knowledge of general construction
    • Position requires travel sometimes last minute
    • Ability to work independently and as a team
    • Pass background check
    • Pass pre-employment drug screen
    • Minimum GED
    • Must be 18 years or older
