Project Description
Sloan Security Group was contracted by Granite Construction to construct two miles of anti-vehicle border fencing on an “emergency timetable.” SSG mobilized its crew and equipment to the site within three days. Over the course of two weeks, Sloan hired 20 local staff and brought in 20 of its own crew. This fencing utilized heavy-duty I-beam and double layered steel mesh fence design. During the course of construction, Sloan poured over 3,000 yards of concrete in the foundation and posts. As a result of its timely project performance, Granite Construction contracted with Sloan to perform an additional half mile of vehicle barriers.
