|Project Title||Ground Based Missile Defense (GBMD) Project -Capabilities Enhancement|
|Project Location||Fort Greely, Alaska|
|Project Type||Security Fence and Gate Construction|
|Project Description||In order to secure the missile field, Sloan Security Group installed 4,726 lf of sensor fencing (including grounding), integrated sensor cantilevered gates, 4,441 lf of 8’ security fences and two cantilevered gates. These activities were completed on a 90 day schedule. SSG also acted as the general vacuum excavation contractor at Ft. Greely, managing the vacuum excavation of various utilities. SSG worked closely with onsite contractors to coordinate construction of fencing in such a manner to ensure that proper security measures were maintained and that the integrity of existing utilities was preserved. |
SSG managed on-site surveying and grading to ensure proper grade tolerances. To accurately communicate work progress, SSG provided weekly electronic man-hour loaded scheduling and man-loading charts and graphs to GBC, Boeing, and USACE.
