Hank Vincent shared his best practices for contractor financial management with the attendees of this year’s CFMA Conference & Exhibition.
Atlanta, GA – Sloan CFO, Hank Vincent presented at this year’s Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Conference, held May 14-18, in Atlanta, Georgia. The construction accounting and finance event is held annually and brings together industry experts all over the world for continuing education, forum discussions, and networking opportunities.
Hank closed the conference as the final presenter at the 4-day event with a talk entitled Contractor Financial Management: Best Practices.
In this talk, he discussed his approach to budgeting, projecting, forecasting, and cash flow. Hank shared his views on the accounting cycle and gave techniques to maximize cash flow and profits as he’s done for Sloan Security Group over the past several years as CFO.
Hank revealed to the nearly 150 in attendance, his framework for assessing the financial health of an organization and how he views his own company’s accounting department as “value-added” or even a “profit center”.
Hank is one of the bright young leaders in construction finance, being named as one of the top 40 under 40 by the CFMA just a year ago. His full presentation from this year’s event will be available on-demand from the CFMA at www.cfma.org in late July 2022.
